So, I think it's clear we need to take offensive & direct action in the Culture War against the filthy fucking pinkos. But, obviously, due to our size and distribution, we have little to no impact on most things politically.
However, I believe I've stated before that I would like to see if we can use our limited power and resources to build a community inside gaming to battle Leftist infiltration, subversion, and conquest.
I think that there's a lot of hype being pushed around Halo: Infinite. It may be that the game will attract a lot of old and new players.
I propose we start a Halo Clan within Infinite when it becomes available. Not simply as a community building exercise, or for entertainment; but also as a method to provide an unencumbered space to allow young people and other gamers to express dissenting political opinions, anti-Leftist narratives, and politically incorrect language.
Look, we know that Leftists are after the children. Just ask u/TentElephant. They do this because they can't reproduce, and people become more right-leaning as they age, get out of school, and actually save money. We need to build a space for the Zoomers to hear something other than the constant dripfeed of Communist buzzwords about Diversity, Inclusion, and Equity. Yes, the Zoomers are probably mostly going to be center-left cucks who've been raised to think about their white privilege; but that's exactly the point: we need to provide a buffer for these kids.
A lot of these kids are going to engage in video games as escapism. Particularly as escapism from the fucking madness of the Leftist public education they're getting, the Communist subversion from TikTok, and 100% of their entertainment. We should provide a gated community for that escapism to exist without Leftist bullshit.
I think we should start some sort of Halo Clan which regularly plays the game online, maybe start some sort of non-discord voice chat server, and keep track of our clans accomplishments both here and in whatever form Microsoft creates to make a Social Media sharing platform for Halo social groups.
Most of us have probably played Halo before and are fine enough to play recreationally. The point here is for both recruitment, and as subversion of the general Leftist milieu that a lot of these gamers and young people are going to be steeped in.
What say you?
Wort Wort Wort
But that game is extremely woke and $70.
There's going to be inflation, and that sounds right for what the price of games is going to be going forward. Mind you I'm still expecting $30 /gallon gas prices in the not too distant future.
And remember here, the purpose is subversion. Get in early, get established, and then siphon people away from Leftist influence. It's the same subversive route they take against children already.
I just don't see the gain in buying something that funds the enemy in the hope of gaining (best case) a few hundred allies.
Whatever funding goes to them is minimal, and I don't want us to be useless reactionaries watching as the world burns because we won't take any steps against the enemy.
Cutting off our financial contributions to them is a step against the enemy.
If you want to get to kids with logic and reason, enter the school system. I wouldn't do it, because it's a woman-dominated cesspit and I truly believe the atmosphere would break my mental state, but it's the way to win.
This isn't about what I can do if I was certified in childhood education. This is about what we can do as a gaming community.
Is Halo going to be woke? I've seen that the fake Cortana is no longer sexy, anything else that popped up?
I'm just basing it off 343 being a woman led shithole.
I never buy Halo, so I don't follow it. I saw the Cortana thing, but that's the least of your worries if you're actually invested into the series. Look what happened to Gears of War after Epic lost it.
O yea, what happened to Gears 5? Was it released, did it do well? I instantly lost interest once they announced it will centered around that chick character so I did not follow the news.
And on a side note, why anything led by women turns to shit. It was not like that, Bethesda was led by a woman when Skyrim was released (I think). Now, if I hear that the lead writer or director is going to be a woman I instantly know it is going to be crap.
LOL no it did not do well. In fact, even after it was given away for free, the sales were so terrible Microsoft still refuses to announce how many units they actually sold. Even Lefty media had to call them out on it: https://www.pcgamesn.com/gears-5/gears-5-sales
It did come out. I played it for Game Pass Rewards, it was excruciatingly painful to play. I did three missions or so, then quit as soon as the rewards showed up.
I think the answer is that when the industry is ruled by men and impossible to destroy, the women there are accepting and want to be part of the culture, or at least pretend to for the cash. When weakness shows, the cult starts seizing power positions and gradually taking a majority.
When it's ruled by women, promoting their hatred is the name of the game.
I'm gonna need more than that to show that we are funding enemy action against us.
I like your thought process but won't they just ban the clan once it gains any momentum?
Even if they would ban it, perhaps it's still worthwhile. I'm just thinking long term.
Sure, but you can't just assume every incursion into German lines will take you to Berlin. That's not the point.
It's to keep breaking into their safe space and pulling people out.
Fair point.
Alternative name: Operation Aaaawubadugh!
You rang?
Wanna play Halo Infinite to defeat Leftism?
sigh Dont make me get the Magnum Split Lip.
Back to being serious, I would be on board. I think we have been WAY too quick to back away from games and declare them a lost cause. Nevermind that the Indie and AA markets are at their peak. Nevermind that a lot of AAA games are still at least decent. No, we need to become blackpilled reactionaries waiting for our turn to declare how much we love
StalinMalenkovBiden before they blow our brains out in the gulag. But that does mean we have to be a bit more tactical about the games we oppose and for what reasons. Because at least from what I have been hearing, most of my gaming coworkers are hype for God of War: Ragnarok, think that Fat Thor looks badass, and upon hearing the "She was brought in by Tyr" excuse were willing to suspend their disbelief regarding a black Norse god. And of course, the people complaining about it (our side) were the laughing stock. Now with that said though: How do? Because if the average person you would be trying to go after is anything like my friends, they know about this stuff. They play games and watch Anime because it is still fun and (largely) not woke. They make jokes that are absolutely politically incorrect, for no other reason than "its funny." We share memes and videos that would send your average Leftist into having fits and spasms. But dont you dare bring up the idea of voting for anyone other than Dem (if you are going to vote at all). Now not all of them, I know plenty of my friends voted Trump, ranging from "Enthusiastic Vote" to "holding my nose vote". But the other friends still stem to think this is the 90's, the Dems are the "Party of the Poor and Working Class", and that Republicans are all either corporate fat cats or bible thumping uber-Christians.
And if you suggest that the situation has changed and the Dems are the ones trying to kill our fun, they just shut down, get angry, and refuse to talk about it, before going right back to square one.
I question the real effect of this, but mostly because I wouldn't know how to make it effective while being immune to the reports of leftist infiltrators. You knew well enough to avoid discord, at least.
I'm a lot more interested in using any successful motion of this as a guide for use in other games (I'm not playing the new Halo, but I'd like to be of service in other games).
Best angle I can think of for me right now is if I started playing Warframe again on ps4 and started recruiting for my clan. But then I'd be using the ingame chat/social functions, and I would have little defense against the reports of infiltrators. (I'm also reluctant to start playing that time sink again) I also know I'm not really suited to running such a thing, as I'd implement rules like making groveling and appeals to authority bannable offenses.
It wouldn't be too immune, but the point is to get into the territory and get people out of Leftist influences. Sure, we'll be getting reported, and probably banned eventually, but the point is to skirt the rules for as long as possible (which could be many years) and function as a siphon from Leftist indoctrination.
Well, the only reason is to organize on the platform but to conduct all communications offsite.
I'm still on Halo 4 so I probably wouldn't participate in this particular game. But I like the KiA2 clan idea and was thinking something similar for other games.
The main question I have is what your primary goal is: is it primarily intended to select for games that the young guys play, or is it primarily intended to select for games that we ourselves skewing a bit older play? For example I mostly like playing the games I played as a kid, but Warcraft II and Half-Life probably aren't going to be very attractive to Zoomers who don't have the nostalgia factor.
Anyone use the voice chat feature in Matrix? I know it exists but looks a bit "bolted on" so I don't know how good it works.
It has to be a combination. We have to like it enough to play it at all, first.
Second, other people, particularly younger ones, are going to have to play it, otherwise we are just enjoying ourselves and not actually contributing to a fight.
If this works out for one game well enough to branch out and create a mutli-gaming group please consider expanding into either Factorio or Minecraft. Team Fortress 2 could also work if that game is still going and you want to keep things First Person Shooter based.
I would like the idea of a Factorio community, but I don't know how that would work.
Whomever is the head of the clan needs to have the ceremonial title of Arbiter
I'll take that, but I don't know how to lead a clan.
