I don't hate them. I look down on them, laugh at their stupidity, shake my head at the idiocy and the state of the world. Raw hate them does nothing but make me angry. Even if there were a war, then we would need to keep a clear mind so we can use tactics to win.
Don't take any of this the wrong way as I'm just calling out what I see with helpful intent. I think you need to get your head put back on straight. I'm seeing a lot of blame being thrown around here. Well positioned blame? Sure, but ask yourself are these emotions a good use of your energy? I think you should use that energy to work on your financial and work situation. It's really clear you are frustrated with both, but I'm not seeing anything about what you are doing to improve them. I don't even think you're as far off as it may seem. So you're not only underpaid, but it sounds like you are near the bottom of the pay scale. Have you considered a career change? Maybe it's time to move on from what you're doing now. That's just one suggestion, but I think you'd be a lot better off channeling all your energy specifically into things that will improve your situation.
You say yourself, "all I want is to have a loving family with my SO, follow my passions, and protect the American spirit." Do that! That is a win for you. Being demoralized is a win for them.
Do you physically have that silver or is just bytes on a computer? JP Morgan Chase couldn't find enough sellers of physical silver to stock their vault, as they are supposed to do, so they just stopped bothering with the real commodity. Silver is effectively being printed to keep the price down.
If I have to lay down every detail of my own ordeal and connect it to this topic, it will come off as a mostly irrelevant ADHD type rant, but suffice to say I've been going through similar shit. I became a welfare bum for a little while of my own volition....yeah. I did it to rest, recuperate, and then work under the table just enough to get my foot in the door financially.
So far I'm still a submillionaire, but I know where I can put my skills and capital. I think it may very well be that I have to wait until my 40's to enjoy life, but if that's what it takes, then that's what it takes.
OP, I could put a lot more here, some of it would probably infuriate you even more, but the bottom line is that I'm on YOUR side, and I'm here to tell you this...
I slave more than half my days being underpaid and fixing the work from retards who aren't capable of learning or improving.
Update your resume, look for a new job. That alone will make you feel better. If you don't have skills to get a better job, try learning a new skill. Even 15 minutes a day in a new skill over a year can be a lot.
My brain has been completely fried for over a year, and my mind has gone through a lot in 10 years. I can't focus on my job, it seems everywhere I'm frustrated with everyone and everything. ... My mental condition is borderline unbearable at times and I've been losing a substantial amount of sleep. Everything is getting too hard to do, even down to brushing my teeth some nights.
Sounds like typical depression that men can experience. Things that may help with that are:
Be outside in nature 30 minutes a day
Exercise 30 minutes a day
Help out or work together on something with a family member and friend
Take complete control over something small in your life and continually improve.
Stay away from all politics and social media especially .win
If you chop wood for your parents, you are doing all 5 at the same time.
I think some days I describe as "emotionally destroyed".
Lack of energy, lack of will to take initiative, and lack of impulse drive to enjoy.
It's easy for some to say "tune out all the negativity", but when some of these policies, mandates, etc., are not only directly affecting your life, but your work as well, you can't just tune something out that's negatively impacting your way o life.
I wish I could say there was an easy solution, but there isn't one. And you're absolutely right about having to hang in there, because for the most part all many of us can do is grip that silver lining like a life line and ride out this maelstrom in hopes of having an opportunity to do something more positive in the end.
We are at a point where the left is 100% pro-corporate and those on the right are starting to realize that libertarianism is nothing more than a farce. Socialism/Communism and libertarianism are two sides of the same coin, both completely ignorant of the reality of human nature. Socialism/Communism and libertarianism assume that those in control are not going to try to fuck over everyone else for personal gain, when human history has repeatedly shown that to be impossible.
Balance is the key, where freedom is vital, but controls on the powerful are necessary to reign in the evils of human nature.
You have some very legitimate complaints but it's important to pour your frustration into being productive and taking steps toward achieving your goals. For your job, it sounds like you're underpaid. The first step, would be to ask your boss for a raise. Go to your boss with hard numbers showing how much more work you get done than other people and there's a pretty good chance you'd get it. If not, is there a different company that does similar work in your area that you could apply for? Or would it make sense to relocate? If your job doesn't pay well and there aren't any other competitors you can jump to, then probably your industry isn't very lucrative and it might make sense to change to a different field. If nothing else, just getting a class A CDL in most parts of the country will lead to a job with a pretty decent income (as long as you have a clean driving record). If you're into tech, doing a code academy can be a good way to break into that field and there's tons of remote work for that so you can literally live anywhere with a good internet connection even if your job is elsewhere.
You can absolutely buy a house. Banks will lend you plenty of money as long as you have a job. And there are plenty of federal and state programs too. For example, you can get an FHA loan in a county that's classified as "rural" and put 0% down. My county is considered rural even though I'm pretty close to major metropolitan areas and a lot of it is suburban so go figure. And there are literally dozens of other programs to make it easier. A mortgage broker can walk you through it, or a lot of banks have classes on how all that stuff works.
I understand how difficult the pandemic has been. I've been plenty depressed myself at times. Are you a member of a church? That's been the only thing keeping me sane through all of this. God will be with you if you ask him for help and guidance. I'll pray for you.
Didn't really need to read the rest to know what you said. I am not going to give you the psychological breakdown on needs, but I must press that the current state of your vocation is a primary factor in your current anguish.
I do not know the specifics of your work. Perhaps it is non-negotiable. If you need to stay in that line of work, look for a new place to do it, which means new people to work with/under.
If the thought of packing up and moving over this makes your chest begin to tighten, all the better. No one is gonna take care of you better than you will, which makes you responsible for understanding you. Identify what's important. You may need to make a hard decision to lift yourself out of this hole. And if the decision is terribly hard, you should rejoice, because it means seizing the reigns of your life. If you fear failure, consider the alternative of this slow asphyxiation.
You WILL feel better if you take control of your life. It is not supposed to be easy.
All the meme shit isn't gonna help, what good's a lump of silver gonna do if you feel like you can't go on? Were you pursuing things you value or pursuing what others value?
These corny, boomer-con and somehow simultaneously stereotypical-millennial talking points have to be trolling or glow posting.
Get a job, bro. Literally. Grocery stores are paying out $1k hiring bonuses at this stage and they pay enough to for you and your girl to save up a down payment on a midwestern house.
Impotent rage is the default reaction for most men who have very little control of their life.
Its a pretty natural reaction to an extremely powerless world, that often disappears once the underlying cause is treated. In most cases anxiety and depression, which manifest incredibly differently in men than what we assume is the norm from women.
Most know it wouldn't actually make a difference, which is why they don't actually pursue it, it simply grants them a modicum of peace by pretending they could fix the problems they don't understand fully.
No, they've convinced themselves that it won't make a difference, because they're afraid.
I'll say upfront, I'm a quaker, I do not believe violence is an acceptable solution to problems.
That being said, I believe the power of one person to change the fate of the entire fucking world is unlimited... if they are resolved to trade their life for it.
What offends me IS when people post impotent rage, because it's pathetic. I never post these sorts of threads because I am content to exist.
I agree with not posting impotent rage and it being a little on the pathetic side, but some people need to vent to keep sane. I've got a degree in therapy, so I see the value in it regardless of personal feelings.
However, platitudes of "unlimited power to change the world!" aren't as true as you want them to be. Throwing your life away meaninglessly accomplishes nothing, but allows the people/government you hate to use you as a pawn in their designs by writing you into their narrative. Every person in the 1/6 event tried to make a statement and instead one died, a bunch are going to jail, and they are being used as justification for exactly what they were against.
Unless you just want to cause violence and mayhem, you should probably sort your own head out and try to apply it wisely instead of tantrumming your way into a grave used as a urinal. Random acts made in unstable moods are rarely the correct path.
Maybe you'd prefer Charlottesville as an example of an actual attempt at standing up for something then? How about Killdozer? Because there are dozens of examples I can just start pulling, but I'm sure you'd write each one off in turn with one reason or another.
But that's about as well as it goes to just go out and "do something" without resorting to actual violence and being buried even harder.
Basically, I have the highest respect for those who live for peace and passively accept the world as it hits them. After them I have respect for those who live for power, who seek to impose their agency on the world. They're beneath me, but I acknowledge that they live according to their philosophy.
The lowest are those who believe themselves to have no power. The "I can't change anything" "what good would it do" types.
I don't "love" violence. But I acknowledge freely that it works, and frequently works quite well.
If my position seems strange it's because I'm not a consequentialist. Most culture warriors (both SJWs and Pedes) ARE consequentialists. And it's in consequentialism that the whole "if I do this, I'll get killed/convicted and that would be bad" question becomes pertinent.
If every religious figure in history from Abraham to Jesus to Joan of Arc had been consequentialists then there wouldn't be religion at all (well, aside from marxism, the OG consequentialist faith).
Issue: Grocery store clerks earn so much more than you that you voice the complaint.
Why is it an issue: You are not earning enough compared to grocery store clerks.
Solution: Become a grocery store clerk.
Issue: Expensive exercise equipment is expensive.
Why is it an issue: You are not earning enough to purchase it.
Solution: Become a grocery store clerk.
Issue: 0 chance of owning a house.
Why is it an issue: Duality of not earning enough, and living in some overpriced hellhole.
Solution: Become a grocery store clerk... in a red flyover state.
Issue: Your preferred ammo is too expensive.
Why is it an issue: You don't want to buy other kinds of ammo and/or guns and/or weaponry, but do want to have THAT ammo and/or gun.
Solution: Become a grocery store clerk for a place that sells that ammo and gets staff discounts.
Issue: You're whining on the internet.
Why is it an issue: That is a singularly unproductive act.
Solution: Start sending resumes to Walmarts, be willing to do full-time graveyard shift.
I don't hate them. I look down on them, laugh at their stupidity, shake my head at the idiocy and the state of the world. Raw hate them does nothing but make me angry. Even if there were a war, then we would need to keep a clear mind so we can use tactics to win.

There's a physical squeeze on silver right now, and it's gonna bust sooner or later.
I may very well get downvoted to hell for this...

See, I doubt that.
As I occasionally also say in the Christianity win, my attitude on this is basically put up or shut up.
If your life is so fucked that revenge is all you have to look forward to, what's stopping you?
What I'm saying is, it's a little disingenuous. It's big talk. A power fantasy.

No they didn't.
That was a collective "Grrr we are mad but we aren't going to do shit."

Almost.
I'm pointing out its efficacy.
All morality is self-denial.
