In Germany the Green party put a female front-runner ahead of a male one. Then it came out she plagiarized parts of her thesis, misrepresented her education, plagiarized parts of her book and failed to report income. Since then her party lost over 10% in the polls. Silver linings.

I agree and it sucks because I have more cash on hand than I'd like and inflation is fucking killing me, but I plan to buy a house within the next year or two so I can't really do much about it. I know there are some options but none are great or without risk.
