Abortion is shameful. My ex had one back when we were teenagers, almost 20 years ago. It still haunts me with regret and shame. I’m glad Texas is doing this I wish it was in place when my ex killed our baby. It would be an adult now. She could have just put it up for adoption. Her lawyer mother coerced me into paying for it too. I will never get over it. Guys please never be a party to an abortion. You will have to live with it like me forever. I wish I could do something to forgive myself. My wife now lost two pregnancies and it was so devastating. I have one kid and a baby boy on the way. I’m blessed to have this opportunity to be a better man now than I was at 17. But I will never forgive myself.

My mom had an abortion about a year or 2 before she had me. Still haunts her to this day. I haven't really brought it up with her since I only learned that when she had a breakdown en route to the commencement ceremony for my Master's. I'm sure the fact the "clump of cells" would be out there starting a family, starting career, or doing any number of things but for the abortion wasn't lost on her at that moment.
I recall reading no end of stories of regret from women who would not go through with the abortion if they knew of the mental anguish and grief they'd experience for years after.
Quit apart from whether abortion is good - are you sure you'd want your kid to be put up for adoption, with terrible foster houses and some adoptive parent you don't even know? It seems like a horror to me.
Better adopted than dead! Her aunt who had one kid and couldn’t have more was willing to take it and she is a pretty decent mom. My ex went to a Christian school and would have been kicked out for being pregnant so the abortion was pretty much an easy out for her. She still has issues with it too. Only a sociopath can have an abortion and not regret it.
This kind of common sense reasoning and humanity is unbeknownst to Leftist like Antonio.
To them, killing kids is fine because they rationalize it as a "clump of cells" that "isn't human".
They have no humanity or soul, and literally do not understand that aborting a baby (i.e., killing an unborn child) is literally killing a part of yourself. It embodies both the mother and father, and is grown through both an emotional and literal physical bond from the parents. When aborted, it's like chiseling out a part of your own soul that you will never get back.
This is why people like Antonio skirt away from the issue whenever the moral and emotional implications are brought up; they like spouting off the platitudes that come along with killing kids using the "pro-choice" euphemism, but they'll be the last people there at your counseling sessions as you deal with postpartum depression, nervous breakdowns, and emotional anxiety.
I'm sorry but you've been indoctrinated into believing abortion is something it isn't. You shouldn't be angry at abortion doctors (obviously excluding those that abort later term, potentially viable pregnancies), you should be angry at the people who indoctrinated you into believing that abortion is murder, or whatever you believe. It's a sad, unfortunate event, but it's in no way equivalent to killing a human. You committed a moral wrong, but not a moral wrong that should haunt you for the rest of your life.

Right - on the news you just see chicks dressed up like handmaids tale with signs saying “abortion is normal”
These women are either sociopaths or never had an abortion and just want to protest over their loss of rights to murder fetuses.
