Humans somehow made it to the 20th century with amazing advancements in art, science, technology, economic productivity, and military power without caring one bit about racism or sexism.
Here you have your answer as to why China will dominate the world 20 years from now. It is not spending vast sums on a diversity bureaucracy nor reparations.
If the Chinese had actual competition their vanity projects would be devastating. However, they don't. The west is doing everything it can to racially purge itself and render itself inert.
At this rate the Chinese can shoot all their resources into space and they'd still win in the end because they'll retain the only (mostly) racially homogeneous nation with a standing army.
I have little doubt the CCP will retain control over their westphalian state. But if maintaining continuity of government is winning then the taliban is winning.
You're still thinking of the game as a great powers contest, a perception which frankly I reject, because America isn't one great power. It's several powers, transposed upon each other geographically and each fighting for control over continuity of the empire they happen to geographically share.
People who think the wars of the 21st century will be about nations are playing the game by old rules that haven't been the case since Bill Clinton.
The wars of the 21st century will be about philosophy, and once they begin in earnest they'll be every bit as bloody as the 30 years war was.
No, I'm denying its existence entirely. What you, and frankly, the CCP consider success I call an unsustainable speculation bubble combined with a handful of actual catastrophes waiting to happen.
Funny thing is that once china is #1, they will not give a fuck (more so than now) what other countries or people think. They will make the usa look like choir boys when it comes to imperialism and colonialism lol. Im sure they got plans for africa.
Good point. I told someone once that logistics aside so you think if they did pay reparations the usual suspects will shut up? Of course not. So trying to appease that crowd is beyond absurd. Yes people can be mean and cruel. It sucks but you’ll have to get over it.
The Chinese will prosper because they have no Holocaust guilt. They can't be made to hate or destroy themselves by subversive marxists and envious foreigners. America failed that test, and we are reaping the rewards.
Was fine until he said governance, which is what got us to this point in the first place. Government always creates reasons for its own existence, real or imagined, and this is at the top.

They're spending vast sums on shitty construction projects made with substandard materials in a speculation fueled housing investment craze.
Ultimately those initiatives don't matter.

Define win.

I think you're getting high on your own supply there.
Just because you're trying to explain away China's success does not mean that it is not there.

Its worse than that. China is a facade, propped up on the backs of the west.
China's "success" is a lot like every other totalitarian regime's "success." They'll be able to fake it until it all collapses.
Additionally, even after it collapses, there will be defenders. Again just like every other totalitarian regime.
Quite literally in their case.
All those shoddy concrete highrise tenements are one earthquake away from the worst urban deathtoll since WW2.
I know that has been the case for other communists regimes, Romania comes to mind. Are there a lot of earthquakes in China?
Yes, regionally.
The sparsely populated west has the most, where the Indian and Eurasian plate are colliding. The eastern half is SOMEWHAT protected by the North American plate (which actually reaches parts of Japan) and the Filipino plate. But if you look at the map, there are places that are safe-ish, but the whole country gets them.
