I read the article and you've got it backwards. It's going to feature women pretending to be men. It's still a problem since on of the problems Yorick has to deal with is making sure no one knows that there's a man around. If there's a bunch of trans people around, why would it even be a problem?
To be fair the original comic story was pretty woke and shitty for it’s time. It was a drama in comic form that did not have to feature super heroes. Dig achievement for what it was.
I knew it was going to be shit adapted for movies/television before it was ever printed. To have it confirmed all these years later is not a fucking surprise. When I first learned it was coming out, I was still part of 'the community' and all the wrong people were excited about it.
