I don't have cable at home, when I travel I put Family Guy on for the same reason I put Forensic Files on. It's background noise while I code, the stations that play it marathon it for long periods, and it really doesn't matter if I miss large parts of the show I will get the same experience out of it.

I watched a newer episode a while ago, and holy fuck, I didn't even laugh once. It was fucking terrible. I'm lucky if I laugh once or twice in an episode. The SImpsons is garbage.
