If she is making people sick or pretending someone is sick to get attention for herself, that is MbP. It's not totally, but, yes, it is. I can guarantee she is playing god with her patients. This woman is a monster.

Alone in the headline it sounds malicious. In the context of the article:

“One of the last things they do before they’re intubated is beg me for the vaccine. I hold their hand and tell them that I’m sorry, but it’s too late.”

I think it's harder to read it that way. Even if it's an lie it's one crafted to look companionate not like sneering.

That reads just as smug. Its got just as much faux empathy as a retail worker pretending to care about a customer's problem.
