While there is a lot of entertaining, but ultimately meaningless, media out there, I've found that rereading Calvin and Hobbes every other year or so brings new meaning to the contrasting philosophies that Calvin and Hobbes hold.
This thread inspired me to buy the collection so I can re-read them. It's been a long time since I've even thought about C&H but I read the shit out of them as a kid.
Another thing he got right is academia.
