These are used as attack words, made to accomplish specific goals. Initially to attack the aristocracy and dispose them, so an easier revolution can take place. Now the revolutions have all came and went, so the target needs to shift from the "elites" to the citizens who stand against their rule.

Equality is perfectly fine, it means treating everyone the same, including correcting or punishing them when they do wrong. Equity means unequal treatment in pursuit of equality of outcome.
And equity is a Trojan horse of its own. It won’t stop at equal outcome, the same way pushing women in higher education hasn’t ended even if they outnumber men 2:1. I’m sure there are other examples too.
The end goal is the extermination of their enemies. Equality is something that will be used as a wedge for as long as it's useful, as is every attack word and phrase they are using.
