Jordan Peterson: Why I (stupidly (?)) agreed to an interview request from the Sunday Times. “I am frankly stunned by the degree of sheer cruelty and spite manifested by your journalist” (www.jordanbpeterson.com)

So, nobody reads the Times.

The only purpose that article will serve is for detractors to post the headline to social(ist) media to dunk on the Doctor.

Does he continue talking to the media just to spite Vox Day? Because it's not working lol

He does so because he is essentially ineffectual opposition, like the rest of the "Intellectual Dark Web" they are meant to enforce the "boundaries of reasonable discussion" and to do that they still need to engage with the mainstream progressive institutions. At the least his opposition alone will not result in meaningful change or damage to the institutions so they don't need to worry as much about censorship.

Have he apologized to Brett Kavanaugh yet for demanding he should step down for his nomination? No?! Okay, shut the fuck up, Jordan Peterson. Sit down.

Umm, I'm not going to go dig it up for you, but IIRC he actually did come out and say it was a stupid tweet.

I'd be more annoyed at his more recent parroting of the MSM's characterization of Trump's "incitement to insurrection."

That said, I'm still not going to cancel someone for one bad take or being ill-informed on a particular topic ... especially when they're in the process of recovering from the hell he went through.

He recognized it was a "stupid tweet", yet no "I'm sorry to the hurt I've brought to Brett and his family". My goodness, the smug of that crypto-woke is really something else.

A print interview is easier to edit into a screed than "the now-infamous Channel Four interview with Cathy Newman? Or the almost equally-viewed GQ interview with Helen Lewis".

Simple as.

Or non-sacrosanct. They destroyed Milo for publicly stating what everyone, and especially gays, know to be true, that statutory rape is normal in the gay community.

George Takei told almost the exact same story as him shortly before/after that, even. But I guess it's ok when you say it was good you were sexually abused as a minor.

IIRC Jordan's name first became well known when he refused to use gender pronouns. I believe his argument was that it was compelled speech. Unlike most people he was able to articulate his thoughts extremely well and in turn teach others. This is what I think people really hate about him. He's giving good self help advice, peacefully opposing the woke mob, and refusing to back down.

If you haven't ever listened to it yet I suggest downloading Maps of Meaning. You can use a youtbue converter to easily get it. It's an interesting class he teaches covering all sorts of aspect of society and story telling.

The dude is as threatening to the left and the left's worried beliefs as a maltese puppy

Not true. He slaughters marxism. He also speaks in favor of personal responsibility and growth, instead of structural state changes to fix people. He does very much crash down the leftists world, in a way that they can't argue against.

He thinks that monogamy is a good strategy to build a successful society. He's not wrong--part of our woes these days is the collapse of the monogamous nuclear family.

He's not an ant-feminist, he's an anti-collectivist. He thinks that collectivism is dangerous and foolish and only leads to dark places. He also thinks that there are certain patterns of behaviour that maximize success and monogamy is one of them. Feminists are very very anti-monogamy because it limits a woman's ability to get everything and pay for nothing, and being told that having to keep their word and not play the field pissed the feminists the hell off when he said as much.

I don't think Peterson is controlled opposition. At worst, he hasn't caught onto how badly the game is rigged yet.

He's not controlled opposition, u/TheImpossible1 is just an extremist fool. JP has de-radicalized innumerable people who would have otherwise defaulted to cultural marxism.
