Yes, because these people are the ones who think bad things only happen to bad people and that if your rights are abused you must have deserved it somehow. Because they believe bad things only happen to bad people, and they're so convinced that they're a good person, they don't care if other people suffer, because they themselves are unaffected. They're unable to empathise with other people and most fall into the category of either 'sociopath' or 'narcisisst'.

Until it happens to them.

It's basically the same story with every person I know that ended up buying a gun this year, and I live in a very blue area. Their business got its windows smashed, someone broke into/stole their car, and a few in the cities had stuff go down right outside their apartments.

Most of them asked me to go with them to buy one and I had to handhold them through the laws. Once they realized that criminals basically just make/steal guns, law-abiding have to jump through hoops, and police were being gutted, I definitely saw naivety leave some of their eyes.

yeah, theres antilockdown protests in my country. completly peacefull, just some boomers going for a walk.

the leftis are foaming at the mouth at those alt-right-nazi-incels-bla, basically calling for them to be thrown into a gulag or something.

then THEY held a protest against an illegal alien being thrown out of the country. the usual violence and destruction by the black-block, so the police had to move in and arrest those cunts.

they are incapable of seeing the difference. they just keep shouting about some "right-winged terror" that only exists in their minds, while outright justifying their own violence. not even in the most left-winged newspaper the normies are buying it anymore. the comment sections are full of mocking and insulting them.

It's nice when you see people realise at least some of this stuff. Whenever we have a truck of peace roll through a market, we always have some special people demand that all trucks/vans should be registered and traceable. They don't want to hear that they already are.

Or the best one was seeing someone demand that anyone who drives a truck should be registered on a list. Then were told about drivers licenses.

It would be funny if these people were kids, the fact that most are in their 20-30s just makes it really sad.

They're utilitarians, morally speaking. In pursuit of the greatest good, any means are acceptable. In the effort to save lives, they don't mind trampling on rights, especially when the people whose rights are being trampled are their political opponents.

What an embarassment of a nation.

It really is. I'm Irish, and we're going down a similar road, but Canadians seem to bask in their stupidity like no other country. I seen a thread about the PBs being labelled terrorists by the Canadian government on Twitter. Nearly every comment was from Canadians who were very proud about the decision. Not one of them seen an issue with the abuse of legal language and the precedent that it set. It's truly amazing how supposedly functional adults can be so stupid.

It is the obligation of every Canadian to report those who who endorse and support no-warrant police raids, to the police, on suspicion of breaking the law. Under the suspicion called "hiding in plain sight": A simple tactic where by being an avid supporter of dictatorial fascistic action, you divert that action onto another person, to hide that you too are doing wrong since they'll be preoccupied hunting down others. Cops KNOW that innocent people can and will act nervous around cops. Someone way too supportive of them, for NO reason, when their entire camp was yelling "defund the police, fry 'em like bacon" a mere couple months ago, should be a clear suspect in some sort of questionable activity.

NO reasonable person would approve of these measures, unless they were a snake doing it to shift attention. Warrants are easy to get. Even easier in this sky-is-falling environment, I'm sure. And if someone is breaching "pandemic rules" to such a point that police action would be necessary, they're probably going to be doing it regularly enough that any delays caused by acquiring a warrant would be moot, they'd do it again, or continuously.
