Think the only one I browse that isn't a gaming or manga subreddit is /r/NoNewNormal/. I get the same vibe from that subreddit as I do with this win where people are waking up to the leftist bullshit that COVID has accelerated. Also they get a bunch of doomers commenting on their posts, so you know they are legit.

My current favorite is r/PoliticalCompassMemes, it is reasonably balanced and you can have real discussions without being downvoted.
r/Anime_titties is actually a reasonably neutral sub for international politics. Has a slight left bent sometimes but they base their stance in reality so it's nowhere as bad as r/politics.
I used to browse some of the cringe and meme subs that somewhat overlapped with the gaming subs, but the really good ones were banned in the big banwave last year. Cringetopia is alright but not as good as it used to be.
I quit reddit a long time ago mainly because of this. Word of advice (although you'll learn on your own hide) is to just give up on reddit now. "Based" communities will be removed sooner or later, and although there will always be something new to take their place, the new stuff is never as "based" as the old. For instance, whatever based community you can find on reddit now will not compare to Cringe Anarchy or MDE or European, or anything from the past. And anything you build up now will eventually be torn down because some busybodies decided to shriek about how you're all literal NAHZIEEES.
