Much like man spreading, it kinda is because they're men. Because their jaws are generally bigger than women and more prone to pulling the mask down as they speak. Same way men sit with their legs apart because their pelvis isn't built to sit straight like women's.
They literally hate men even down to their bone structure.
90% of the people I see deliberately wearing their masks below their noses are black. They do this because everyone else is afraid to confront them. Either you will be branded a racist for daring to question the behavior of a black person, or you will get your shit pushed in by a violent black thug.
My black co-worker's nose is to flat to hold a mask up properly unless it has that metal bit where your nose should go.
