If it wasn't about saving the "too white" elderly, then there was no reason to lockdown. The CDC have already acknowledged, based on infection fatality rates, that COVID-19 is less dangerous than the seasonal flu for people under 50. If we weren't going to prioritize the most vulnerable group among us, and the virus isn't particularly lethal for everyone else, why did we kill the economy?
