Where'd the other Mando go though? Would have been far more believable with him trying to take on you-know-who during that chat in the cantina than FemMando I honesly can't remember the name of if it was ever given.
Still amusing in episode 7 where in order to make an Imperial even more evil they changed him from the stereotypical British speaking white man to a Southern state speaking white man calling everyone "boy".
Everyone in it (apart from maybe Bo-Katan's sidekick) had already clearly established their credentials, and they never once drew attention to it in a blatant or pandering way.
Compare this squad storming the Arquitens with the Girl Squad from Endgame, which was pure vomit.
If you're fine with not watching it too carefully/thinking about it too much, it's a fun show. If you start watching it critically, it falls apart pretty quickly. Stormtroopers are almost farcically incompetent (to the point that I stopped believing they would ever be a threat to the main characters), and the writers seem to rely on the character's making incredibly poor decisions in order to move the plot along.
After the nostalgia bomb of The Force Awakens, Rian Johnson had to step in to make Skywalker function in this universe. His way in was to make the character a real, messy human, which turned the triumphant coda of The Force Awakens into a wry joke and his final showdown with Kylo Ren an exhilarating, religious moment. As good as The Last Jedi is, it’s actually a bad sequel to The Force Awakens (and The Rise of Skywalker, which feels compelled to squeeze in Skywalker a third time, is a bad sequel to both movies). The ramifications of Johnson’s way of making sense of Luke have been clogging up the Star Wars conversation works for years.
How can we unfuck the hole that Rian has just written us into? I know, let's get Chris Terrio, the scriptwriting genius behind BvS and Justice League! He'll definitely straighten everything out, and deliver a satisfactory trilogy ending.
But seriously, as much as TROS sucked, there was no coming back after TLJ. I spent two years trying to come up with a decent ending and failed utterly. I give TROS half a point for trying to undo some of Rian's damage though.
Can someone read this for me and tell me if it's worth bothering to watch this show? I got a month of Disney+ from a promotion.
I don't particularly want to sit through some God awful feminist propaganda piece.
It's decent, but not amazing.
However, it's got women in it, so you'll probably hate it :)
Given the finale is Mando + 4 women assault crew, that seems probable :p
lol not really. Human history is pretty much "men protecting women and children" writ large.

Where the fuck was that male Mandalorian with the blue team??

They really can't do nuance at times.
You know, I had zero issue with this Girl Squad.
Everyone in it (apart from maybe Bo-Katan's sidekick) had already clearly established their credentials, and they never once drew attention to it in a blatant or pandering way.

Good lord, season 2 was full of stupid plot moments and just bad decisions all around. Don't forget Mando's plot armor is so strong.
It's really good, the best live action Star Wars since Empire.
The big female character is played by ex-MMA star Gina Carano, if you follow her socials she's the opposite of woke.
And Baby Yoda is cute as fuck.
And they say we’re on the wrong side of history.
Rian bits:
The Last Jedi is the biggest piece of shit ever created in Star Wars media. Including the holiday special.
Rian Johnson should suffer horrible torment for eternity for inflicting it on us, and nearly destroying the franchise.
How's that trilogy coming on Rian?
Edit: "Making sense of Luke" = attempting to destroy the character of one of the most loved heroes in film. Fuck you Rian.

I’d argue they’re not even the same characters.
The sequel trilogy will be studied in both film and business schools for decades to come for this reason.
Rey goes dark side with kylo, jealous fin kills them both in their sleep, Galaxy accidentally saved by incel violence.
shut the fuck up you fake geek trash
