What the fuck even is the point anymore? I'm not even just talking about politics anymore, I'm just talking in general. What's the point in anything when the average person is a creature of pure evil with zero principles and zero value?
Don't get me wrong, it's not like I want to end my own life or something. But what the fuck am I supposed to do in this hellhole of a world anymore? I don't even want to take lives of others, it would make literally no difference in the grand scheme of things. But if I could push a button and just end all of existence, I would do it a thousand times over right now. That well-known (online at least) African proverb "the child who is not embraced by the village will burn it down to feel its warmth" just keeps echoing in my head today. Even communities that I myself create are not free of this. It's ALL people, isn't it? Even when I try my best, I can't seem to find anyone worth my trust.
Not to mention the global situation. That only shows that this is not a thing on a small scale, this applies to the whole world.
Yeah, the real black pill is realizing that 75%+ of the population intentionally choose to not think for themselves. They want what we are being subjected to.
Humans are inherently social creatures, and they will not risk tipping the balance of power when they are not sure they can succeed. It's worse to have 4 drivers in a car than to have 1 driver and 3 passengers. As a passenger who wants the driver to be different all you can do is convince them to pull over and swap off, or try to push them out and take the wheel yourself. Most people would rather choose the path of least resistance.
Even if the driver is leading you down a dangerous path, trying to wrestle the wheel from them isn't necessarily a safer thing to do. It could just cause the car to crash faster. At least, right up until they deliberately arrive at the edge of a cliff in which case it's usually too late to do anything.
The vast majority of people don’t want to be drivers, they are happy to sit in the car and be driven off a clif.
Yes, because not everybody can be in command at once. Human society needs people at the top and others to follow orders. At a family level, a village level, a city level, and a country level. The higher up you go the less decision makers and more followers. That's just how things work.
Organized civilization by necessity cannot have everybody want to be in full control at the same time.
No, humans are lazy retards who don't like to put effort into things.
It's why monarchies, religion, and communism is so effective. Don't think, let some other retard think for you.
It's not about being "lazy" it simply does not work if every single person wants to give orders. It's not "lazy" for a child to listen to his father or teacher or boss.
Being loyal to people is not the same as being mindless. It's not "letting other people think for you" to trust others with your life. If they don't actually care about your life then it's a mistake, but if they do it can be a very powerful bond.
Laziness is human nature.
Your talking like they would step up and drive if given the chance. The reality is most people are more comparable to dogs in this analogy. They don’t have the ability to drive, don’t have the concept of it, and don’t even understand what’s going on. All they know how to do is stick their nose out the window.
Where the fuck did you get that fucking number? That's more than the entire voting population.
You learn to laugh, ride the decay into the sunset and be ready for your moment to die in a blaze of glory.
No amount of stressing about it will change it, so you change yourself to a form that best fits and achieve new goals that brings your new form happiness. For some that's triggering da libs, for others its taking their rage at degeneracy out on kinky women who enjoy it.
Like this?
sad honks in agreement
We're letting narcissists, bullies and psychopaths run the world. The naked power grabbing, blatant double standards, demoralization and abuse are areas in which they excel. It has gotten this bad because the wider populace was never taught, nor made aware, of how to identify these people and their tactics and how to effectively combat them without resorting to physical violence. Even trying to do a cursory internet search tells you all about the various fallacies used and how to identify them, but rarely ever how to counter them.
There needs to be greater emphasis placed on equipping the populace with the means of identifying and combating abusers and their tactics, in addition to greater funding of mental health. Abusers shouldn't have power over even a single person.
Implying they are actually counterable. Shamelessness is invincible for a reason.
But guess who is even bothering to seek for power?
Seems the world is primed for an Augustinian revival. Humanity, despite is belief in its own superiority, has shown itself to be broken and sinful, and no amount of progress undoes it. We simply become more creative in our methods of oppressing and exploiting each other.
Fortunately, Augustinianism does leave us a way out, while acknowledging that the promised kingdom will only exist in glimmers and fragments. We won't be perfect anytime soon, but the good news is we don't have to be. We just have to try to live into that better life.
Nietzsche's madman noted he came to early to declare the death of God. I would argue that humanity will never be able to seperate itself from religion, especially for all of the reasons you outlined.
Humanity cannot save itself, our own arrogance powered by our knowledge will destroy us. We saw this arrogance on full display 100 years ago with the first world war, and we see it again with social justice losing its christian context and attaching itself to an ideology.
As the writer of Ecclesiastes wrote:
And I applied my mind to know wisdom and to know madness and folly. I perceived that this also is but a chasing after wind. For in much wisdom is much vexation, and those who increase knowledge increase sorrow. - Ecclesiastes 1:17-18
Go into politics.
Join Project Veritas, canvass, protest, sue Silli-communist Valley, write angry letters. Refuse to be silent.
Who do you think staffs the NYT, Vox and Media Matters?
I'm already in a political party in my country, my country is doing way better than the west is, so there isn't much to fight. Things are going alright.
This is the part where you put down the keyboard and go outside.
No really.
The internet has this uncanny ability to make you shoulder the world's burdens. Everything wrong with the world is at your fingertips, which can make you feel responsible. This is a straight ticket to massive depression that helps nobody. Is the outlook bleak? Yes. Is therr anything you can do about it? Likely not. The best you can do about ot is prepare and count your blessings. We're not stacking bodies, we're not facing a military invasion, we aren't being drafted into a pointless war. Despite all the blackpills, life is still really fucking good right now.
Go outside and interact with your community. Catch up with friends and family. Be with your loved ones. Maybe even pick up a hobby (musical instruments can be very theraputic). Take a vacation from the culture war. It will do wonders for your sanity.
It brings to mind a poem I once found, which I reckon we could all do to hear.
*"When I was a young man, I wanted to change the world.
I found it was difficult to change the world, so I tried to change my nation.
When I found I couldn't change the nation, I began to focus on my town. I couldn't change the town and as an older man, I tried to change my family.
Now, as an old man, I realize the only thing I can change is myself, and suddenly I realize that if long ago I had changed myself, I could have made an impact on my family. My family and I could have made an impact on our town. Their impact could have changed the nation and I could indeed have changed the world."*

Smile, sing a little, laugh a little. Maybe find someone to laugh with. Also get really buff and learn to shoot. Maybe join a non-cucked church. All of this much easier said than done, I know.
But just look at it this way: we have the privilege of being born in one of the most hilariously backwards points in all of human civilization . You’ve got a front row seat to the biggest clown-show in history, find something to laugh about. We’re all in this together, partner.
I'm rooting for Kim Jung Un.
I just root for the rats and raccoons.
Humanity would deserve a secondary sapient to rise up and give it the fiinger and a push of its fucking throne.
When viewed from the outside in, humans look a fuckton like Daleks. Twisted little fucks trapped within the shell of their own technology, gettin' high off their own farts. "We are superior beings! Exterminate all else!"
Can't even realize what spoiled, poor excuses for members of the animal kingdom they've become.
I like your spirit but that is not going to happen, not in our lifetime. We have a greater chance to have an alien invasion. I would welcome one at this point.
I do not see those two things as mutually exclusive, actually.
You've never been through hell. If you think right now is the worst thing you've ever gone through in your life, then you haven't had a fucking hard day in your life.
The average person is not a creature of pure evil, that's basically Leftist/Globalist rhetoric at this point. The only reality here is that most people are subsumed by a corporatist system and are trying to protect themselves (which effectively defends the system).
It is only Leftists who are operating from no principles, and only power.
If you can't find anyone worth your trust in the real world, the problem is not the world, it's you.
Probably. I'm fucking sick of these worthless black-pill failures shitting up the site.
Good lord, these motherfuckers need to grow through some genuine god damned struggle and learn both endurance and perspective.
I'm a regular who doesn't want to post personal whining on my main account.
breathe bro, things aint that bad - you have the opportunity to bitch about everything on the internet to dozens of strangers, something even a couple of generations ago would have been a plot point in a science fiction novel
Just relax and enjoy the show. Laugh at the the burning world.
True. Whenever I remember that we live like medieval kings did, I realise how lucky we are to live in this time.
