Eh, her looks and likewise her career is done for, this is a marketing stunt. She hopes someone will hire a brave and stunning man. Won't happen.

We already had that with Beyond Two Souls (nude model) and Super (non-nude but extremely heavy sex scene) near a decade ago.
This is the point even further beyond.

Considering the new requirements from the Oscars she is a top talent. She has no looks and her acting is I assume ok but not incredible but she does have experience in acting. She is a better choice then some D-list actor. After all is this not what affirmative action and quotas all about, having people less qualified get the job because they are some minority.
Ehh, Elliot Page is now an evil white male. As they are so quick to point out, white men are not a minority.
I very much doubt that being a transman gives her much attention. Nobody cares for men, not even for women pretending to be men. That's why Bruce Jenner can be Woman of the Year while the same won't ever happen to Pagerino here.
She still checks that box for diversity. She may not get the insane attention that Bruce got but she will get better roles.
I guess we'll have to see what the future holds. I'm rather sure that she's done for as far as big-budget productions go.
I actually do not care who identifies as what as long as I am not forced to partake in their delusion. This does beg the question about how real transgenderism is, she is 33 in a very progressive industry and she only now thinks she is a male? I thought transgenderism is this incredibly thing that if you even use the wrong pronouns it would kill them but she was not compelled to be a male until now? I'm assuming that the new wave of "transgenders" will be just regular tomboys and men who can't grow a beard?
