The fact that the media tried to portray Michelle as a hero back when she was first rejected by Harvard is sickening but not surprising at all. I highly doubt she has a hint of remorse for killing her son, especially since she never revealed where she buried the body of her son.
She was pregnant at 14, killed her 4 year old child at 18, and at 22, was sentenced to 50 years in prison, and while there she worked in the prison library, got a degree, and certified as a paralegal.
It looks like served 20 years of her sentence before being released early for good behavior.
As far as I, personally, am concerned, she served her time, earned her release, and is not likely to be a danger to anyone from this point onwards. I doubt she will ever offend again.
