So basically like every community they are allowed to fester in. The tabletop gaming community is pretty much lost now too.
Basically, ask yourself why pretty much any fandom is tarred with the sex brush. Is preferring non-human characters over humans ones that bad? I don't like drawing humans, either, never have done. I don't consider the species to be the end-all, be-all of anything, especially art subjects.
It's basically the adult version of "if you love it so much why don't you marry it" bullshit - "if you like it, you must wanna fuck it" mindset of the goddamn pervert.
And remember, some people think that tabletop RPGs are/were all about fantasizing about going around and killing people (as in level 0 civilian nobodies) and porno. Because thetwistoes who play evil and put sex into everything are the ones who talk about the shit the most, and the most loudly.
And if there's another word for a person who just likes the cartoons and stuff without any stupid cross-species sexual nonsense, I'd like to know it.
Oh, and the same assholes who laugh and point that one must want to fuck any character they like, are also the ones who want to fuck ALIENS like Vulcans and Klingons, which are also NON-HUMAN - I think they're just projectionists themselves.

You've probably seen some of the articles about how in D&D for instance they've removed races since Orcs are black people apparently. Shit like that. If you go on the Discord servers they're mainly being run by commies so anything not inline with their philosophy earns you a ban.
The tabletop industry is about to die as I suspect the fa/tg/uys are telling everyone who isn't a regressive leftist to avoid the woke garbage like the plauge.
The brony community has recently become fractured by the regressive leftists who control fimfiction and derpibooru, with said regressive leftists conspiring to supress dissent by hiding their rule changes out of main anouncements so people won't notice until it's too late.
The companies for sure are hemorrhaging money since their policies are driving away long-time customers which are essentially their only customers these days. Most of the younger generation have little to no interest in tabletop games, so the industry is currently being kept afloat by old school vets that now have jobs and the disposable income to spend and play these overpriced games.
With 40K showing signs of going woke, there was a huge push in the community to remind them that 3D printing is a thing and if GamesWorkshop wanted to be stupid and go woke. People would simply start 3D printing their models while continuing to play the game.
It makes sense that the furry community would be a primordial petri dish of extremism.
Was there, can confirm. There were a lot of shitposter types and a fair amount of moderate, religious, and even far rightists furries back in the day that have either been driven out, underground, or bent the knee.
There's a massive overlap between furries and troons. Both disorders are caused by extreme coomerism, which in turn, based on my observations of these people online, seem to come from literal fucking autism.
Trannies, furries, pedos, scat fetishists, you name it - they're all people who are absolutely maddened by porn, they've jacked it so much they became insensitive to anything even vaguely normal, so they kept finding increasingly disturbing shit to jack off, and at the same time the kind of disgusting shit they jacked off became their entire identity. Again, autism.
I believe in this hypothesis especially because troons act exactly the same way as furries did about 10-15 years ago. It's uncanny. Any online community that doesn't bully them out will be overtaken and turned into a masturbatorium. It doesn't help that furries and troons are always severe autists so they basically live on the internet and they have more time to keep posting and get janny positions than normal people do. Really makes you think.
