Yeah but accepting responsibility is something they're allergic to, lmao. That's the point. Truth doesn't matter to them.

Tell me why you never brought back the "contacting advertisers" thing

Why does he need to bring it back? He's there to clean the place. Start a campaign, go ahead, do it yourself. We're not on Reddit.

You're literally going to allow Reddit to censor us on a DIFFERENT SITE? Jesus, dude, there's caution and then there's just going too far.

"The opposition boycotted the vote except for lawmakers from the nationalist Jobbik party who supported the changes."

This is a tactic insane opposition parties in the west LOVE to pull. They love to "boycott" votes and then when it passes unanimously, they complain that they're being oppressed. Yes, really - they refuse to use the power people elected them to use, and they complain about it. Lmao. Then international media smears the government for being oppressive (yes, it works sometimes, in terms of optics).

I don't fully agree with this though, it's a pretty shitty and overly broad law, unless the article is dishonest. Teaching kids gay and straight people exist is fine, but obviously LGBT advocacy aimed at kids is grooming and should be prosecuted. Also "minors" seems way too broad. I'm undecided on this so far.

No, vaccines are mostly ok, but I will not take an experimental drug when I can just stay at home anyway (and not for no reason, my entire family is in severe risk categories).

I feel the exact same way. A few conversations was enough to get everything you could out of him.

"I'm genuinely touched by the sudden influx of attention, but I want to humbly remind everyone that each protester you see in this video is now either in jail, in exile or in some form of hiding. Most can't escape, and now that the decades-old Hong Kong democracy movement has been completely crushed, they'll likely live the rest of their lives under Beijing's authoritarian rule. The protesters knew it would probably end like this, but they did it anyways, hence the rallying cry of "攬炒"... "if we burn, you burn with us".

Most of my friends now suffer from PTSD, depression or perpetual anxiety. Words and ideas that were once debated in public are now whispered in private - or not at all - out of fear that a neighbour or co-worker or family member overhears and decides to report you. I don't think calling Hong Kong a police state is an exaggeration anymore, and it's only the beginning.

Maybe it's too late for Hong Kong, but you can still learn from what happened here. I hope you realise that you're not alone, that your pain and yearning is shared by countless silent strangers, and that when enough people speak as one, you can move the needle of history. I've seen it happen.

Most of all, I hope you remember us."

You don't understand. We're SPECIFICALLY talking about the response to Twitter. That's IT.

We're siding with him responding correctly to Twitter trying to undermine the country it's operating in. That's IT.

To decode normiespeak: "I do not hate my gay and trans friends".

You can't act like people are smart enough to know what's happening, ALWAYS assume they're idiots on anything even remotely political.
