I miss the old internet, when retarded normies who couldn't hold an intelligent conversation if you put a gun to their heads were gatekept out.

Next one of you will say something like "I ain't reading all that" or some other no internal monologue shit.

Ah, you're the internet, are you?

Wonderful of you to make my point for me.

logintoblockcommunit 1 point ago +1 / -0

Ah, and there's the tone policing. I think we've almost done the whole checklist, don't you?

For the record, I'm not smug. I work in theoretical physics; I know I know nothing, blindly fumbling around with tools that pretend to understand the barest hint of the world.

I'm disgusted and dismissive. While I know I know nothing, your ilk struts around pretending to know everything, the proverbial pidgeons knocking over the chess pieces and shitting on the board, and acting like you've won. What tolerance I had for the misplaced confidence of religiosity has been worn away bit by bit by bit, leaving me with this.

I hope you can understand the difference.

Oh, yes, thanks for reminding me, there's always that exact bit of seal barking too.

You can really set your watch by it.

Honestly, it cracks me up that your ilk accuse others of hubris, when your statements on the matter are so full to bursting of the prideful assumptions of your own rightness that it can be seen from orbit.

Ah, there one of you is. I was wondering why I hadn't gotten an "uhm akshually my god is great" somewhere yet. I'm glad you guys are mostly off celebrating the new year instead of prowling for places to throw hands for jesus.

It does amuse me, you know. Your type randomly say "such and such is/are stupid, they need to follow my god", and a bunch of clapping seals show up to bark "yas god man slay", and if I say "you shouldn't randomly bring up your religion in an unrelated public place", those same seals bark at me that their religion is absolutely the true and right and just, and I need to get with the program and convert to it already.

And when my irreligiosity creeps up in an unrelated post, the seals bark that I shouldn't bring religion into it, and really I need to get with the program and convert to their the good and true and just religion already.

And they never seem to have any luck identifying the inherent contradictory nature of those positions.

Ah, but then again, were it not so, then perhaps they wouldn't be good and true faithful barking seals, would they?

Walz is my hero. The realest politician I've known in my 49 years.

Walz and Mamdani for me. I love Bernie but he's too old to really relate to the young people at this point. Walz is the cool dad you look up to, that always has that great nugget of advice and Mamdani has the charisma and natural charm to relate to so many people.

These people must live in a different reality then the rest of us do. There's no other explanation for it. No thoughts, mind empty, and with the same certitude and pride in their declarations as the man telling you to live your life by jesus or mohammed or the flying spaghetti monster.

Absolutely amazing, in the same way watching a ten car pile up is amazing to behold.

There can be more than one big problem, and ignoring the mudslimes to focus on the jews exclusively is just as sure a pathway to destruction. The small hats want to destroy western society from within, but the goat fuckers wish to do so from without.

Both must be dealt with together, or else one will swoop in after the fact to capitalize on weakness.

I think most people around here understand that we're a democratic republic instead of a straight democracy, yes, but that doesn't change his point.

The chance is absolutely zero. Fucks sake, the current mayor of Minneapolis swung the election by manipulating the somalis into voting for him by exploiting intertribe warfare in somalia to get people to vote against the other guy.

Those savages will circle the mud huts the second anyone starts any proper pushback.

I get being once bitten twice shy, but my guy, literally the first words after the greeting:

Hello everyone!

Today we'd like to wish you a belated Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year

are wishing you a merry Christmas.

How is that not enough?

That is definitely one of the most attractive parts of the fantasy, and why so many end up in one of the big 3 abrahamic offshoot cults.

Its nice to imagine that eventually the bad people will get what they deserve.

Dude, I know you're retarded, but you've gotta stop picking random fights in random places.

logintoblockcommunit 3 points ago +3 / -0

I always forget the ground rule of arguing with your type; it's pointless, since you'll just drag the conversation down into mud and shit, happily wallow in it, and then strut around as though you've proven a point.

Evil, like good, comes from men, because we are the creatures who invented the nonsense concepts of good and evil. There is no such thing as good or evil in the natural world.

That you can't understand this simple truism says a lot about you.

And I'm doing my part to oppose the evil men I can reach, so don't project your apathetic implicit support for evil people onto me. All evil men require to win is for good men to do nothing, and I do what little I can. If we all did what little we could, the world would be a much different place.

But we don't, because a good chunk of you throw your hands up and say "its demons, can't do anything about demons, gotta wait for god/jesus/santa/flying spaghetti monster to do it for me".

Its not demons. Its people. And we, also being people, can turn around the works of evil men with our own hands.

Demons aren't real.

Evil people are real, and these are evil people.

Stop trying to deflect the responsibility we all bear for tolerating this shit for so long that it's gotten to this point by trying to hide behind magic and religion.

This is a problem of men and by men. The solution must also come from men.

Oh, is it time for another satanic panic? Because I call dibs on the metal music if we are doing round 2.

Dude, those people have been dead for near-on a century.

At least pretend to be good faith and call them "neo Nazis" or something. German national socialism is many decades dead and buried.

Oh, are you finally done with "women are the root of all evil" and moving on up to "everything I don't like is Hitler", imp?

Or just sticking a toe in the water to check the temperature?

1
logintoblockcommunit 1 point ago +1 / -0

Sure sticks of hypocrisy and projection around here.

By all means, great teacher. Enlighten me. Show me the evidence of your claims, and I'll adjust my worldview accordingly.

Or just do the usual "hurr durr just google exactly what I'm thinking about now chud and educate yourself" thing. Either or.

Eradication of numerous deadly diseases that used to plague humanity and cause untold suffering says what.

Some of you guys really, really need to pull your heads out of your asses and start using the space between your ears to think again, instead of just using it to store more shit.

The Covid era tyrannies were evil, and the covid injection mandates were evil.

Vaccines in general, especially the long standing ones with decades of safety and efficacy evidence, are not evil, and it's retarded to even bring it up in the conversation.

That's not an explicit argument on the MORALITY of scientific endeavors, though. If anything, that's more of a standard "don't let your greed and pride eclipse your good sense and restraint"

Like, "CAN we make dinosaurs with laser cannons attached to their backs?" is a conversation that has nothing to do with morals (except for the random who might swing by to tell you that only his favorite god has the moral right to create life, but we generally have the good sense to ignore those dudes) and everything to do with that practical divide of "we can, but is it a good idea that we do?"
