Remember when they blasted Rush for that? They claimed he didn't believe in consent. Rush was really pointing out that they believe only in consent and no other factors.
One article that stuck with me a while back was a new mom explaining that she got her baby's consent before changing a diaper, with the goal that the young child would understand his bodily autonomy. I knew it was weird and wrong but couldn't articulate why. This is why. A baby consenting to a diaper change is about one short and curly away from a toddler consenting to penetration.
Yeah, it was cold war era, and they were analogous to Russian spies.
The TNG Klingons represented more Mongolian warrior culture.
They later retconned a story behind the change. Same with the remodeled bald Klingons in Discovery .. they got retconned too.
Last week: men are bad because there are too many of them on campus
This week: men are bad because there are too few of them on campus
The last paragraph of the article was terrible, but the article makes me want to ask. How bad is the difficulty curve? Some games get progressively harder up to a point where I feel like I hit a wall and have no way to train myself over it and just lose interest. Typically Metroid has a near perfect difficulty curve where the end is hard, but it trains you how to get there every step of the way.
Also, Metroid isn't an RPG where you can grind your way to making it easier, but it does reward exploration and curiosity with making the game easier. Explore enough and you get extra health and missiles, making it easier to brute force your way through a challenge that otherwise might be too hard. It still has that, right?
we went from "you can't help what you're attracted to, so whatever it is, it's ok" to "suck my girl dick, bigot" really fast
Uh, no, the point of C*T is to let worthless people pretend they were oppressed instead of facing reality that they just didn't bother to invest the time and hard work to be good at something
That's not an "Uh, no". That's just part of it. Critical (Race) Theory is born of Postmodernism which denies the idea that objective truth even exists. Critical Theory tries to wrap it in the notion of "unbiased truth", but at its core it's still a replacement of reality with "my truth". I perceive that I'm oppressed, therefore I am objectively oppressed and you're racist if you think otherwise.
The whole point of Critical (Race) Theory is that is denies the existence of "truth"
But, see there's no evidence of fraud. We looked and we didn't find the fraudulent ballots, and there haven't been any arrests so that means there no fraud.
That's an oversimplified definition of what left vs right is, but only by a little.
Exactly! My wife and I were talking about this one night. Like, isn't this how you're supposed to behave?
Hung jury = mistrial, not acquittal, meaning they can try again if they decide to.
