I'm beginning to suspect some political fuckery/general EU incompetency (what else is new?) and they're just blaming Astrazeneca because it's the easiest thing to do.

Ding, ding, ding, we have a winner!

You underestimate just how stupid bureaucrats can be. You know they've seized millions of Astrazeneca doses, many of them bought and paid for by other countries, and then let them rot in the warehouse? It's because of this that Britain's vaccination drive has massively slowed down.

Er...aren't contraceptives vastly more likely to give you blood clots than the Astrazeneca? I also find it rather curious that a lot of this talk is being driven by the EU, who's vaccine procurement scheme has gone down like cold sick whilst Britain has vaccinated about half its population.

It seems the ranks of freedom loving Americans swells by the day. The spirit of 1776 (grumbles in British) isn't gone just yet.

Let it go. It's lost.

Not while I'm still breathing.

I have a somewhat similar sentiment about Britain (England in particular). No matter her condition, she is my country and I am rather fond of her.

Granted, it does serve as a lifeboat should things go very wrong. At least the essence of America could survive in such a scenario instead of it all going down in flames.

That's the kicker. None of it needs to stay. In fact the whole lot could be thrown out in quick order, we just need people with balls to gain the levers of power.

Wrong attitude in my view.

No retreat.

No surrender.

There is no such thing as a politician with honor.

Caesar?

A lot of them thought it was like the concentration camps of the Boer War (which were bad enough). Himmler himself spoke about keeping it secret from ordinary Germans.

Not really. These people had little to no input on Hitler's policy, and were clearly not aware of the full extent of the Final Solution. Bearing in mind, the Third Reich was a totalitarian state that terrorised its citizens into compliance.

It's a shame they ended up suffering for the unspeakable horrors the Nazi war machine inflicted on the Eastern Front.

the fact that every death camp just happened to be discovered by the Russians, while only concentration camps were discovered by the Americans.

Because the Russians advanced into Poland, where the Nazis put the extermination camps out of sight of the German populace. Poland also happened to be a place where slave labour was in abundance, as the Poles were deemed servile subhumans worthy of service to Aryan Germans.

Or, did you think Nazi Germany's laundry list of atrocities aside from the Holocaust have been forgotten? Cough cough, "Action-T4," cough, "General Plan Ost," cough.

Given Nazi ideology and how they implemented it (Nuremberg Race Laws and Kristillnacht) the Final Solution is a perfectly logical next step for them. When you view people as unclean and undesirables, you've paved the way for ethnic cleansing. Given that these were the same people who slaughtered twenty million Soviet citizens, it's entirely believable.

The National Socialists did pretty much unleash Communism on the world, whereas once it was simply sequestered in the USSR. Also they wrapped themselves up in traditional values and patriotic sentiments, thereby making those politically toxic after we found out "the demented fuckers killed twelve million people on purpose."

Their war ruined the continent, and left us wide open to Commie subversion. Bugger Nazism, it's just a damn shame it dragged a proud country like Germany down the road to hell with it.

Well, that's an excellent way to be defeated in battle. Ideologically charged armies tend to get spanked by the chaps with an ounce of professionalism.

Rebellions require clout, wealth, logistics and leadership. Nobody has that at the moment, thus no rebellion. It's not cowardice, it's not sheeple, it's realistic.

Shitting on normies gets you nowhere. If anything, the right is absolutely at fault for failing to provide proper leadership for over seventy years. Is it the common foot soldier's fault that a battle lost because half the officer corps is MIA whilst the rest run around wailing "NAP" whilst the enemy advance?

It would probably come sooner than that, if things even get that bad. Russia had a long history of autocracy and poor living standards, which sort of primed the Russians to be more pliant with something like Communism.

America doesn't have that. Much higher standards of living coupled with ingrained and old classical liberal traditions, creates a populace that isn't nearly as receptive to that sort of thing.

Meanwhile, sure, a lot of SJWs talk the talk, but at heart they are not down for Stalinist tyranny. Don't even think the most corrupt Democrats have that in mind.

The war for the United States of America is over and the Patriots lost.

Is it? Because from my perspective it looks as if all they did was slow you down and piss you off. The question has never been "if" the left loses, as they are battling common sense and human nature itself as yet another doomed endevour of the social engineers. The question is, just what kind of a mess will the Right have to fix when they wrest power back?

Trump is very much the kingmaker now, especially given that Republican voters are going to go to town on the Rinocons via primaries and mid-terms. He might not be President again, but he isn't going away.

For an entertaining thought experiment, can you imagine these people enlisting in the Imperial Roman Army of the 1st Century AD? They'd be wailing about their human rights whilst the First Centurion lays into them with his stick, laughing "Juno's cunt, you're a weak one."

Nasty little snitches. For all the propaganda, these brats were never much liked in totalitarian systems and most kids knew better as I understand it.

Knights were bad motherfuckers who trained their entire lives for war. This lot would not have the social respect or martial prowess to achieve these things. They'd probably get ambushed by angry villagers with machetes and pitchforks eventually.

An ideologically charged military, whilst good at keeping control, doesn't tend to be the best at fighting. Look at what happened to the Red Army in the opening moves of Barbarossa.

Silver linings and whatnot.
