That's because he's a lazy thinker. Saying more is usually easier than less. He just spews out whatever he's thinking at the time. Seems to have gotten worse the last time he was on Rogan. He'll just go off on random dissertations of loosely connected things.
‘The great party switch’ was also a hilarious trick.
“Didn’t you guys fight to keep slavery?”
“No!! The parties switched a while ago, we’re the good guys now.”
“…alright. I won’t at all bother to look into that and will take your word for it.”
The only reason people even entertain the idea of CRT as something they believe is by thinking it says there are still a bunch of KKK folks out there trying to keep the black man down, and by not at all knowing it’s just Marxism with race in place of class. The hardest part about being black in America now is just other black people. Everything else is hand outs and free stuff and priority admission forever.
DW is, but so are most of the networks. DW’s just more popular so you hear about it more. Basically everybody’s gotten a contract offer from everyone, a key difference here being that as Crowder was leaving and negotiating with them they did try to poach their social media guy.
It’s also used to make up for bad writing. Sometimes it’s used well, like with Chapelle or Carlin. More typically now it’s used to stand in for a punchline.
Cut to one guy:
Fuck!
Cut to the response:
Fuckity fuck!
Another cut to someone else:
Fucking fuckity fuck fuck!
The formula’s so common that if I hear that I just assume something’s going to be crap. Not always, but at this point anything new that does that tends to suck. Same with seeing a cast of characters that are all female Skittles. A movie or game or show that’s mostly female Skittles cursing? Just assume it’s like Velma.
That games great. Great story and characters. Hard to take action movies seriously when games do it way better. Horror too.
By ‘them screwing around’ I meant Crowder would have other shows that had them in it on any platform he launched, like Cast Castle on Timcast.
Just heard the Crowder take on Tim Pool, not the after show yet. I will say Jeremy trying to poach people from him that were not looking for other places to work during the offer going back and forth as Crowder was trying to land on his feet after The Blaze is super shitty.
It’s always fun talking to them about anything bad happening economically and them blaming it all on republicans when it’s typically always when dems are in office. I don’t trust most data at this point, but I personally had the best financial years of my life under Trump, which is true of most people I know. Talked to a lefty and he said “no, things were horrible under Trump!” He had also still had the best financial years of his life under Trump. And once Trump’s out of office, now everything’s Trump’s fault, despite the guy in power actively doing things to make the economy worse.
Say that about any other topic and nobody’d even take you seriously. Add in any confusion and uncertainty, and people will believe anything.
I’d say it’s more a test of financial literacy. Honestly the main super power Jews have is that they’re all financially literate. Pretty easy to take out Jewish supremacy if you just taught people how money worked, then laughed as they burnt down the fed.
Only argument I can see for it not being intentional is that Crowder’s bipolar and is in manic mode. Crowder has signed plenty of deals like this. Shapiro was his first fucking lawyer coincidentally.
Crowder framed his side as “we need to stop catering to big tech censorship rules,” which isn’t really the issue. I think everyone would like that, but you can’t use their platforms if you do that, and DW’s business model is catering to them there and then on their own site having whatever they want. Same as Crowder’s really, only they avoid hot button topics. The only real way to do that is to make your own platform like DW did and then take the blows as they come on social media. Crowder probably left the Blaze because he kept getting banned and couldn’t do ad reads to the audience sponsors had paid for.
The real issue is them giving him an offer and them him either trying to leverage public opinion against them by recording and leaking their very rudimentary negotiation, or just making a big public display at their expense in an attempt to launch his own service. That’s a dick move you just don’t do in business. Tim Pool got the same kind of offer and declined to do his own thing and they still help each other out. That’s how it should have been with Crowder.
His own independent Mug Club membership platform, kind of like what Tim Pool did with Timcast, only presumably just being the Crowder show and them screwing around, not an attempt at a media network.
And Crowder knows they’re the ‘play by the rules brand’. If someone sends you a deal you don’t like you red line it and send it back, and plenty of times you can’t make a deal. Everybody does that. The only reason Crowder is making this a big public thing is to drum up drama and publicity for his own launch.
I know the many reasons Crowder’s been banned, I’ve been in Mug Club a while. Crowder most likely left The Blaze for similar reasons. They can’t support him on terms he’d like if he gets banned all the time.
I’m not saying Crowder SHOULD have been banned. That’s a different thing.
As an analogy: I’m sure DW has made Alex Jones offers. And I’m sure they couldn’t come to an agreement because he gets nuked everywhere. Which is why Jones stays on his own.
I like Crowder the most out of all the conservative talking types. And even I’d be hesitant to ever do business with him after this. He’s willing to blow up the internet with private conversations to either leverage a better deal out of you, or use the drama to profit. That’s bad business.
I’d rather Crowder went independent, but he’s clearly just trying to drum up drama about all this to launch his own thing, and that I don’t like. Love Crowder, but not that. Pretty sure he’s bipolar.
I looked at data but you can never be sure what’s real and what isn’t, and we never know anything that quickly anyway. I saw high end data simulations showing we’d all end up probably getting it anyway, and nobody I knew and even nobody they knew was at all dying from it. Then on top of that, there wasn’t a chance in hell we’d develop a vaccine for a coronavirus in less than a year when we hadn’t been able to do that for influenza. Then when they kept saying the shot would protect you from new variants, I double knew they were just saying shit. They even said the shot would be better than natural immunity, as in having gotten Covid and gotten over it.
The people that supported it the most were also known liars and bullshitters.
I’m a Mug Club Member, or I guess technically was since he left The Blaze. To my knowledge, Mug Club was just a Blaze membership as it got me everything on Blaze, despite not watching or caring about anything else on Blaze. I wouldn’t see the point of Mug Club being on its own and also giving me access to everything Blaze had.
No, it’s not. It’s like offering her a contract where if she’s banned/suspended from a platform, she’ll make a little less for the duration of that suspension/ban.
He gave Crowder an opening terms sheet in fucking October, then decided to register a domain name months later before calling Jeremy a month after that to try to make a big public scene to drum up publicity for going independent, which he was going to do anyway.
No one, at all, gets better terms signing on with someone else when compared to going it alone. Which is why Crowder’s going it on his own and always wanted to anyway. He very easily could have negotiated for better terms with Jeremy, which is the point, Jeremy even said he low balled him to start the discussion which is just good negotiating. He would never get the most favorable terms, however, because no network at all offers that, in part because networks like that aren’t really needed for someone that wants to run the show themselves, only for people that just want to show up and talk and have someone handle everything else. That’s not Crowder.
He’s also literally starting a press tour now. He probably didn’t plan for Candice Owens being on Timcast last night, but he could have known, and then they talked about him. Now he’s coming to Timcast this Monday. Even Scott Adams had Crowder in the headline of his video today, Lauren Chen, etc. Basically everybody in the alternative conservative media. I would not doubt that he makes it on other shows, including a DW one, doing his little press tour before launching Mug Club on its own independently.
I really doubt Jeremy isn’t in on it. And it’s not like Crowder’s retarded. I’m assuming Shapiro realizes it all too and is just going with it because it’s not like he spoke about it with a lot of heart today when he said Jeremy’s his best friend and Crowder stabbed him in the back. Ben was Steven’s first lawyer. All these guys are friends.
It all seems planned. He registered StopConPro a month before the Jeremy call was recorded. They’re buds, I’m sure they’re all in on it. Now it’s a giant news cycle. Might even make it into the lefty news. Works for both of them.
You’re probably right, they should give many away! Everybody gets money!!! Money for evabody!!!!
A more important question is whether you believe any of this drama is real, as it’s pretty clearly planned. He even registered StopConPro a month before his recorded call with Jeremy. They’re buds, this all helps them both. Crowder knows he has to go it alone and this helps generate interest for him and DW. This isn’t a real feud.
DW is the ‘play be the rules and push conservatism’ brand that funnels people into their memberships through mainstream channels. Crowder is the opposite. It wouldn’t be that hard for Crowder to just do what Tim Pool does and save all the big things for the Mug Club folks, which is probably what Jeremy made the offer hoping for. Crowder in general also knows he needs to go it alone, so he probably asked Jeremy if they could have some drama to stir up interest for both of them and he said sure since they’re friends.
Crowder registered the domain name StopConPro a month before the call with Jeremy. This was all planned.
They approached him with the standard terms they give everybody, only with $50 million operating budget for 4 years.
He would be a good investment at those terms, not at ones he’d like. On those terms he’s a bad investment.
They also approached Tim Pool.
DW operates within the YouTube/Social Media rules that are completely stacked against them. Crowder mostly tries not to and pushes hard enough that they at times change rules just to get him. That makes him a bad investment for them, unless there are provisions in place to protect them.
The bigger issue is that Crowder knows he can’t get the deal he wants ANYWHERE and he needs to go it alone so he can Alex Jones it, and is using this with Jeremy’s consent most likely to drum up publicity for that to have a big launch. Crowder’s an actual actor. I love him but if people that are his fans don’t see this then they don’t fully understand Crowder.
I’ll see it just because he’s in it now. I liked him in Chuck and Shazam was fun. Now that I know he’s not a crazy asshole I’ll see everything he ever makes, if only to support people like that over the rest.
