Giving an option for a refund gives them an out to refuse a chargeback and to argue that they’re not technically stealing since everyone had a chance to get their money back.

It doesn’t make it legal according to the fundamental rules and universal shared understanding of contracts (and basic logic) going back to the dawn of civilization, but it DOES make it legal the way modern American law works. Clown law has been the way of the courts for decades now.

Political minorities almost always have to be more tolerant of other minority/fringe beliefs. When your beliefs are outside the mainstream, you can’t afford to be too exclusive.

For what it’s worth, I agree with you. The holocaust happened. I’ve seen enough of humanity to know people are capable of that kind of blind evil.
