Unions are leftist trash that often lobby for things like bailouts that enable corporations to even exist in the first place. The only purpose for a union is to legally protect the business through government regulations while trying to bleed the workers as much as possible through union fees, which is the only reason any union even fights for wage increases.
Unions are in part responsible for the corporatist state that (mostly western) society has gotten to. Because collectivism is a cancer.

Expansion of voting eligibility has always been about expanding the vote for leftists. It's the only way they can ever win: by opening the floor to more and more ignorant groups. Doesn't matter if it's gender, or race, or wealth status, or age. Leftists have always championed opening the vote to people who have lesser knowledge of voting than others.

Another example of this is gun crime. They look at all these mass shootings (particularly those in schools) and say "this is why we need gun control". Meanwhile, the 50s still had automatic weapons available to the public, schools had shooting ranges, and mass shootings weren't happening. But hey, we need to bring in more regulations and less education!
Leftists operate off deliberate and forced ignorance towards other solutions, and only consider solutions that would give them greater precedents for more power and control. Welfare is no different in this regard, it's simply another tool to get people reliant upon the state then use it as a threat to be taken away for those that don't comply with their orders.

Mostly been Deus Ex Mankind Divided. Even with a more powerful PC, it still crashes occasionally. Hopefully Embracer does something with the IP and it isn't terrible (but it probably will be).
Other than that, been playing a bit of Nimbatus for something a bit more chill. Dipped into a couple games of They Are Billions, but haven't really gone back at the moment. And finished Eiyuden Chronicles Rising about 2 weeks ago (long review short: It wasn't terrible, but there are serious flaws. It's also practically Fetch Quest The Game, since that's what all quests are, including the main story quests).
