Well, it's probably going to utterly shit on the 1980s as a "racist, sexist" era that it wasn't. I don't think it's going to be any "Stranger Things" type headpat to GenXers at all. It's probably written by the same sort of maroon I saw claim that Cyndi Lauper's "Girls Just Want To Have Fun" was a plea to legalize women going to bars. I told the guy it was written in the 1980s, not the 1880s, and he didn't get it.
