IIRC, that frog is just passively poisonous as self-defense against those who would eat it while it's living its life and minding its own business. It doesn't seek to spread that poison to others. It's humans who take that shit from it and do that. :P
It is a great analogy too since the frogs are not poisonous on their own, they have to eat poison and let it build up.
