Yes, it's "So long, King Bowser".
Apparently, it's because it's based on the updated Japanese version, which among other things, also patched out Backwards Long Jumping.
The only reason I still care about Nintendo at all, is to watch SimpleFlips spend 60 minutes trying to blj off an owl statue through Snowhead as Link, live on stream.

Has anyone played the unofficial PC port that got released a few months ago? Mario 64 is probably my favorite game I don't own and the "one that got away" in that I had the chance to buy a copy before retro gaming blew up and made it crazy expensive.
I have it, but it just crashes in wine. So I never got to play it. I might spin up a VM eventually, but that's way down ma list.
