You forget closing all entrances except for one, because the chink flu gives a shit about what door you use. Honestly isn't more of health hazard to funnel people through one door, than using multiple entrances?

If anything the BEST way would probably be one entrance, one exit, no going the wrong way.

It's SCieNcE!

[Serious door studies have been done to determine the germ detonation rate in a vestibule under normal traffic conditions]

Businesses should really just skip the headache of having to adhere to a constantly shifting target and say that they are operating in support of black lives, and that all their patrons are protestors.

On the ground anecdata where I am: I think people are starting to get tired of the mask shit, especially now that the smoke from all the fires makes your lungs burn. I've noticed an uptick of people not covering their nose, and the local grocery store doesn't have a "mask monitor" at the door nearly as frequently as they did (2 of the last 3 times I've gone they haven't had anyone at the door. A month ago they always had someone at the door).

A month ago the local brewery I frequent made me order outside the physical building because I wasn't wearing a mask; this weekend not even the bartender was wearing a mask consistently, nor were most of the patrons as they walked around. They only put them on as they started walking to their cars; it's very strange because that's the time when they aren't actually around other people and therefore don't have to worry about getting hit by a "droplet".

To few people don't wear masks at all to say whether or not there's an uptick there.

I live in a county here in Texas that was apparently "hit hard" by the COVID and everyone here goes to the supermarkets with their masks on (because the stores still require them), and as soon as they are inside, they put them down around their necks. They put them back up when the go to the register to check out.

People are WAY passed caring about COVID at this point.

The funniest thing I saw today at the grocery store was the jewelry store section that was closed off to the public with a gate, and the two employees closing up weren't wearing masks. But they were within 6 feet of each other and in the same physical building as the rest of the grocery store where masks were "required" (the saving grace of our new corporate oligarchy is our oligarchs don't pay enough for their henchmen to actually enforce the rules they put in place). Yet some employee 50 feet away from anyone else in the main grocery store section needed to wear a mask.

None of this shit makes any sense, and anyone who thinks these masks are helping anything is clearly not seeing how people are actually implementing these policies.

I asked my friend who works at Walmart the other day how life was treating him with COVID, and he told me (among other things) that fuckin' nobody who works in the back of the store wears masks while back there.

Anecdotal, so take with a grain of salt, but I believe it, given how few fucks most Walmart employees give in general, even absent COVID.

Yes, well, this IS a company that makes its employees say a little mantra at a picture of its founder every day.

I'd believe if anyone has an accurate sense of the severity of the disease it's Walmart employees. They've stayed open this whole time and attracted large crowds as one of the few open stores during the lockdowns. And they probably are more likely than the general population to know someone who tested positive and therefore have a better sense of the severity of the disease than the general population.

My county was recently praised for having some of the lowest rates in the state.

We adhered to the law so little that cops back in April refused to enforce any and all requirements of social distancing and shutting down. Only major corporate chains made any major changes.

We were basically out of quarantine until the governor panicked over BLM protests looking bad and doubled down hard on masks and scared local businesses into compliance.

Funny how many go and blame Trump for most of this but the amount of deaths was not going the change by much since we had positive cases already in the country once the border lockdowns started. Also so many people keep going that Trump should have issued stricter lockdowns on the cities but that would conflict with their Trump is violating states rights.
