You grew something. That's awesome. Growing stuff is really good for you and everyone around you.
Growing crops, enough to turn a profit and feed your family and large numbers of other people is a different thing altogether. Building and maintaining a farmhouse. Overseeing an estate. Farming. This takes levels of knowledge and skill that go well beyond getting a plant to grow.
I've cooked dinner for myself. That doesn't mean I'm capable of running a restaurant.
The field has to grow something next season too. Good management of anything is a notable achievement.
Modern agriculture is EXTREMELY high tech. And has to be, because there are simply too many people to feed by doing things the old-fashioned ways.
Sure.
And when you have international backing and funding you should be easily able to do it. Industrial farming really isn't difficult on a conceptual level.
But they can't do it even with the entire world behind them.

I'm not saying your completely wrong about any of this.
All I'm saying is that farming is a little bit harder than a lot of people give it credit for.
