All writing is like this now. I go to fucking recipe sites that are full of this same pretentious nonsense. I don't care about your fucking creating writing project: just tell me how to make a fucking pot of soup.
I want to know, in this order of importance:
Nowhere in the last is the authors relationship to her grandmother listed.
There we run into the snag of "no shallow content". If you don't stick that recipe at the end of three pages' worth of worthless bullshit about how you just got back from taking the dog to the groomer and your grandmother was coming over from her latest OnlyFans shoot so you needed to feed an army of people and this was the perfect recipe to do it with, you don't get the user engaging with the page (and the ads thereon).
Never in my life would I think I'd need an adblocker more for recipe sites than I would for anything even remotely related to adult content, but here we are.
It's not even about user engagement as far as I know, it's about search engine ranking. The endless paragraphs of horseshit are just SEO. Blame Google.
Recipe Filter is your friend for shit like that (Chrome, Firefox).
It ain't perfect but works most of the time.
