To anyone considering watching: you're missing very little if you skip it. In the first few episodes I've seen at least. Richard Garriot (sp?) is a character, but there's not any information there that you probably haven't heard and certainly nothing you couldn't find on your own.
Well, shit. I was really looking forward to checking out that show, but hadn't heard anything about it yet. Guess I can now save myself several hours on watching it.
Honestly, I'd be surprised if a Netflix show wasn't pozzed.
Episode 1, about 10 minutes in features a gentleman dressed as a woman for whom it was so traumatizing that he had to play as a boy in some games that he feels the need to casually bring it up on international television.
Let me guess, they'll include something like South Park: Stick of Truth, where there's a part in the story that really depends on you being a little boy for whom the opposite sex is still a complete mystery, and one that likely involves cooties, at that.
They also spend a significant chunk of the RPG episode talking about some hateful gay RPG that no one's ever heard of and also doesn't appear to exist anymore.
I think there's only one episode that doesn't hamfistedly include some kind of progressive political bullshit that doesn't matter.
Other than that it was a fairly entertaining series.
