Getting rid of context destroys human conversation completely and I fully believe that that is the goal of this. Are we going to get up in arms about it with literally any other slur? Clearly that answer has been a no, otherwise insults would've died out long ago.

News flash, turns out that discrimination wasn't exclusive towards black people, nor are they innocent of doing the same thing. Treatment of Irish, Chinese railroaders, and Japanese internment camps are all other examples that happened in the US, just like slavery of black people.

Honestly, so many people avoid that word. Meanwhile they say some other vulgar things themselves without thinking much of it. It's just something that a lot of people are taught at a young age, but never ask why it's that way.
