Its pretty horrible and this bullshit needs to stop. In my minor brush ins with the FE community it seemed pretty toxicly woke, but perhaps that is because it was on reddit. If YouTube hasn't cancelled the dude, try to support him in any way you can. Even if other figures in the community abandon him, if he can still be successful despite that then he has won.
It really sucks. Honestly the only way to fight it is to have people who dont buy into the bullshit rally around him. So long as he still has avenues to post and share his content and build up a fanbase and garner financial support, they cannot completely defeat him unless he gives in. It sucks and I imagine the sudden loss in income hurts but honestly if he were to resume making videos like normal he might be surprised how much of his support returns. The best way to damage cancel culture is to pile up as many examples as possible of people who survived the attacks.

Not at all really. I just watched mangs a lot a few years back as he was one of the few youtubers focused on a single franchise I liked. I played a lot of Fire emblem 7 and the 3DS games too and I fell off after echoes because I wasn't interested in how three houses looked, and I hated Fire emblem heroes. Even now, looking at other Fire emblem channels they focus a lot on the stupid banners or whatever they're called in heroes.

The Ivy League already created the blueprint for this with regard to shutting out Asians via soft scores. You just define your group / firm to have high standards for emotional resilience, silence at work, avoidance of gossip, ban discussion of politics or mainstream media at work for being divisive, etc.
Those are all markers of the busybody types who make these things into issues, so you're not excluding them because they are women (and in fact, there are plenty of women who are also sick of this shit), but because they are a problem.
