Do you think he's aware now?

"There's no gun violence in the UK!"

Because there's this. Guns don't kill people; people kill people.

Last time I was summoned to jury duty was for a case where gang members beat some guy to death with a 2x4 (allegedly). Shitty people are going to find a way to be shitty regardless of what's "legal".

For sure. Stabbings are usually thought to be crimes of passion because they are usually spontaneous and you can see overkill more clearly, but it doesn't mean that it can't be planned. Stabbings and beatings are usually worse ways to go than shootings. Guns are easier weapons to track and do forensics on. Most gun crimes are committed with illegally possessed or unregistered guns because they have a will and a way regardless of the law.

but it doesn't mean that it can't be planned

Precisely.

Paraphrasing this slightly as cannot remember the details 100%, but there is a story from the last few years in the States about an "incel" who stabbed a girl after she refused to go out with him.

He had what he stabbed her with on him and ready to use the moment she said no. Which is exactly what he did. He did not get turned down, go to find something, then went back after her. He likely knew he was not going to get the answer he wanted, or conversely he got the exact answer he wanted to justify his actions, and planned ahead for that by having the weapon on him and ready to use during their conversation.

UK, Canada, and Australia all did radical disarmament at roughly the same in the 90s, when the US did it's own weaker assault weapons ban that later expired. There was no change to the already decreasing trend of violent crime generally, and it's particularly noticable that you can't tell from the data when disarmament occurred.

Yep. Murder rates around the world decreased at the same rate regardless.

Hate facts though.

Well she failed the course.

Should've allocated more points to perception.

They should have had a "knife awareness course" awareness course. In reality, probably gang warfare for little shits.
