Lol. They suspended it until the end of July only. This is all a PR stunt. Just like all of this Black Lives matter shit done by companies is. Fuck Sony tho. I’m sticking with Nintendo and PC gaming next gen.
Same here. Nintendo does not disrespect Japanese developers and the vast majority of games I want are on PC.
Heck, I'm a huge Persona fan and Persona 4 Golden is on Steam, but not on the PS4. With the massive success that game is having, I will not hesitate to ditch Playstation altogether if Atlus brings all their games to PC.

You are correct. Profits are down across the board because of the Chop Fluy. Advertising is usually one of the first things that companies start to cut.

I think I'm skipping this console gen completely and will probably just buy a 3000 series Nvidia when they drop. Sony exclusives aren't good enough nowadays to warrant buying a system for and everything else will run/look better on my PC anyways.
be sure to pick up an SSD. I didn't realize how much of a bottleneck i was getting on my 6tb hd until i realized some of the glitches were coming from 100% load on the hard drive.
At this point a SSD is required for gaming. With games in the 100 gig range and hdd speeds actually going down from 7200 rpm to 5400 rpm, I would only use regular hdds for storage.

I think this may be the turning point where companies realize that their digital advertising staff gives terrible advice that causes more harm than good.
There is no benefit to having a social media "presence" all the time. It's definitely biting companies in the ass whenever these crybullies have a flare-up like BLM.
If you dont acknowledge it, you're a bad company. If you do acknowledge it, you're not doing it good enough - or you're part of the problem too! There is no win by being visible in these moments.

Honestly I don't think they care. They probably assume that Americans can appeal to Americans better than Japanese can. They know that Americans can't appeal to Japanese very well. But I don't think they appreciate yet just how serious the cultural divide forming in America is, either. So maybe some day they will be forced to make a choice. But I don't think it's there yet.
