I don't know if I'm imaging it or not, but it seems my YouTube suggestions, especially in shorts, are showing much more liberal suggestions. I don't watch any mainstream media but I'm getting MSnow clips. I'm getting We Wuzzery type suggestions despite watching Anthony Cumia and American Krogan videos.
Is anyone else getting more liberal suggestions. I've noticed a similar thing happening with Substack. The more "far right" stuff I view and comment on, the more I'm shown leftist Substack accounts.
I'm mostly watching Warhammer 40K lore videos, hobby stuff, resale and music of many genres on YouTube. I'm getting more of the same because all the political/culture war content I enjoy I'll mostly watch on Rumble.
I also have the habit of clicking "Don't recommend me this channel" option when I do encounter Leftoid progressive slop.

I dunno, I don't think I've ever used YouTube suggestions page. I only use my Subscribed page and have Shorts turned off.
I use it a decent amount but usually don’t see crazy leftists or mainstream media slop. Probably depends on the day and the algorithm.
Hasn't happened with me personally though i have been getting media news channels in the suggestions.
I've given up on Youtube mostly. I downloaded the few 20-30 videos I watch on repeat every day and I just play them in random order at home. They can fuck off.

Yes and it's going to get worse, the UK government is forcing Youtube to promote "standard narrative" videos in your feed.
