It was 1 million per year under Trudeau, for 5 years. Carney "lowered it" to 500K but has also opened new "paths to citizenship" which keep the doors open to more.

Previously? About 100K per year for 20 ~odd years, with a spike to 120K here and there.
So in 5 years, importing 12.5% of the population? Absolutely insane.
It is, we're doomed. And it isn't like infrastructure was increased at all! Leftists fight any new housing or transportation projects. The expanding population is squeezed into the same structures. Like putting on pants you wore as a teen despite weighing quite a bit more now. 😉
At least people from India mostly speak English... mostly.
