That seems like a decently high bond for a 17 year old who has probably never held a passport and owns next to no property, at least assuming he doesn't have the MSM alerting the white genocidal masses to his GoFundMe.
Yes, "just". Because bail bond sellers/facilitators will cover bail bonds at tiny percentages of the total. It's perfectly likely the "bail" they'd actually pay is 5k.
1% is not the norm on a bond, 10% is. If they use a bondsman then they never get the money back even if found not guilty, and even if the case is so weak that the grand jury believes them almost certainly innocent and no bills the case.
It's based on the average GoFundMe amount raised...
