She does know that Karmelo Anthony was trying to judge the content of Austin Metcalf's character by puncturing his exterior, doesn't she?
12 jurors, 13% of the population are black - there's a chance that a jury with no black people can happen. In the initial pool there were potential jurors who were black but got removed by being educators or having reservations about the case.
It would seem that Bernice is thinking that a convicted criminal wouldn't have been convicted if there was a black person on the jury. That's all kinds of wrong.
Nothing wrong with thinking that a blatant criminal wouldn't have been convicted if a black person were on the jury. Plenty here ALSO think that they'd 100% in-group preference.
What's wrong is thinking that such a result is anything but a travesty and an abomination of society and justice.
