I saw that trailer, was expecting the sjws to pull the preeeedo card the moment I saw it.
I should also add the American voice actor is dogshit, sounds like the classic western woman artificially deepening her voice to sound "strong".
A lot of Japanese VAs have backgrounds in music, which is why they have more range than boss bitch with vocal fry.
Its really just American's who sound like that. A recent trailer from Blood of the Dawnwalker has one if the most feminine voices I've heard recently.

Is it a Brit? I know in the Souls series most of the VAs were classically trained in Shakespearean theatre.

Yeah the slightly-miffed, condescending American-accent is the most annoying to listen to from a woman.
She would have sounded so much better with a Yorkshire accent.
