Don't humanize animals. Elephants will kill you just as quickly as any other wild animal if you get too close.
The situation in the video looks like an elephant who started munching the crops of the people living there and a retarded jeet who got way too close when trying to scare him off.
Consider the fact that trains are generally known for being on set tracks...
Jeets are not known for their intelligence. Trying to shoo away a hungry wild elephant is about as intelligent as playing chicken with a train.
Rural East Indians have various "prayers" to shoo away cows & other critters. It sounds exactly like screaming at them & waving scary things, but NO! It's "a prayer" and not swearing & flailing. 😃
Do these work? Not always, obviously, and it takes large groups to work on elephants. Clearly it didn't work here.
It's possibly a lone bull during mating season. They're famously ill-tempered & prone to killing anything that annoys them. Same for bores & bulls.

Go try going on a pasture with a bull. Or cows with calves. Cows are rather docile domesticated animals after all.

Famous White hunter Peter Capstick includes a whole chapter in his book "Death in the Long Grass" on elephants. He says nothing on earth is better equipped to kill people than an elephant.
Look up the definition of "musth".

I'm not defending them. They're subhuman scum. But if you think a pissed off elephant won't attack a white man, you are delusional.
That, and a bull elephant in musth will stomp out any human they come across. They are terrifying animals when they are roid raging. I would rather run into a grizzly bear (as long as its cubs aren't nearby anyway).
