If you want a break from all the seriousness in the world I suggest this movie. It’s on YouTube and I was watching it thinking how absurd it was but couldn’t stop laughing. Kinda like how I was when I saw the movie The Stupids or Silence of the Hams.
Starts with these two guys in Hong Kong needing to transport an ancient ancestor who comes to life with some magic words. Their plane comes down in Africa around the tribe of the guy from the original film. Hilarity ensues. I will say Gods Must be Crazy is a funny film as well but has more charm

Love on Delivery and God of Cookery, are not for everyone, but if you enjoy getting drunk and watching non-sense, these are stupid funny stuff.
Also High Risk co-starring with Jet Li, which was essentially Hong Kong Die Hard, has Chow humor and Jet Li action. Worth looking into if you like Hong Kong action movies of the 80s and 90s, but if you do, you probs already know all this.
I've had High Risk on my watchlist for decades -- It's weird I never got around to watching that one considering I've watched many of Chow's and Li's earlier stuff years back.
I'll also second God of Cookery -- that movie is insanely funny, with some legitmate laugh-out-loud parts and well worth checking out for its irreverent humour.

The first one is a legitimately good film.
Loved it as a child and it held up as an adult
Was disappointed by the second being too slapstick, even as a child, never rewatched it as an adult.
Started the second one but YouTube took it off by the time i got back to it. Third one was so silly but I couldn’t stop laughing. First one had a perfect blend of humor and charm
