It’s 3.5 hours, just a heads up but I’m glad to see people doing this. I wish Disney would let third parties write EU stories or adapt them.

I was at its premiere on YouTube.
It's well made, but the engine they used is about 15 years out of date already. Be hard for it to compete against more modern made movies.
That said, the voice acting is fantastic. Could do with slightly better editing but if anyone's a fan of the novel(s) this is certainly a great place to start out on understanding them without turning a page.
I hope, once AI gets all controllable, the same footage is given a shine and some of the cuts/angles are a bit tighter. But all in all, a very fun movie let alone a very faithful adaption of that particular book :)
Thanks! I hope more people try to adapt the novels. People who actually care.
For those that want to see it: It's a playlist of about 30 five minute chunks starting here:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MN8oCvpyQjQ&list=PLIXGhtpYcgXdpREUecruJR1Yy3h8w4d-s
Now there is a full movie combining them all but that playlist is good id someone doesn’t have the time
Is it the full first book yet? The last thing I remember from it was Luke's drastic tractor beam escape.
Yes. Full book. Watching it makes me wonder why Disney didn’t just use that
Because they weren't trying for quality. They wanted to change it to a girls brand to sell more toys.
