I've never been arrested. I have no reason to fear police. I also feel anxious around cops. Because that's a totally normal human response to the presence of authority figures who are not your fucking parents.
As a child I was nervous around my parents too which is why just like I do with cops now, as a kid I stayed away from my parents because if they can't see me, they can't get me in trouble.
Even now as an adult if there is a cop driving behind me I will pull into a parking lot I wasn't planning on going to, or pull.off on the nearest exit and wait until they pass.

They're just the only ones that consistently manage to turn a simple moving violation and $200 ticket into a felony and/or visit to the morgue because they don't know how to shut the fuck up and follow basic instructions.
