I mean, it does make sense. Being able to kill something your size or larger kind of demands a certain level of respect/fear. There is an understanding that men who get into physical conflicts are strong on some level. We all know by now that women absolutely salivate over what they perceive as strong dominant men, even if those men are a danger to themselves.
