Gas stations hike their prices quickly so they can earn enough money to afford their next shipment. Then those prices stay high to cover the sudden spike until they're out of the red. A sudden drop in crude isn't going to magically lower the price at the pump, especially when the drop was based off of empty words and bullshit.
