They only way to have a liberal democracy for any amount of time is to have a very strict immigration policy. If you allow people who don't hold liberal democracy as a foundational principle (ie Christian at least), they'll have all the rights and privileges you have, but any victory they secure will irreversibly weaken those rights and privileges. If you allow ethnic minorities in numbers sufficient to form enclaves, they'll vote in their own interest to the detriment of the larger nation, with similar results. If you allow people who can't be self-sufficient to vote, they'll vote to enslave everyone who is self-sufficient.
What we're seeing in Alberta is the exact same rot that's happening everywhere else; these groups exist in large enough numbers that anyone who doesn't pander to them doesn't have a snowball's chance in hell of being elected. That's why the cities have already fallen to the NDP, which itself has shifted radically "Left" (read: anti-Canada).
The only way a pro-Canada can reasonably run is if they're confident in the support of all White voters, most of whom are too demoralised to even turn out. In another decade, even that won't be enough.
